In a plate we are going to mix the olive oil, the soy sauce and the lime juice.

In a glass container we are going to add 1 piece of meat and we are going to add the meat tenderizer both sides, then add some of the previous mixture using a pastry brush.

Do the same with each one of the meat. Cover with kitchen plastic and let it marinade inside the frige for at least 3 hrs or overnight.

Carne Asada Seasoning and Marinade

After at least 3-4 hours your meat is ready for the grill.

Hint: heat the grill for a couple of minutes, then with a half of a new onion pass it through all the grill, this will help lossen any remaining meat and fat.

Substitutions

  • - you could use soy sauce with less salt
  • - I do recommend to use lime juice but if you dont have then you could use lemon, (lemons are more sweet then bitter.
  • Use avocado oil if you dont have olive oil

Variations

I have used different types of meat for this amazing recipe Carne Asada Seasoning.Use the meat of your preference.

Equipment

Is preferebly if you cook this outside in the grill then inside. Do not use a plastic container to marinade the meat. I highly recommend using a glass container.

Storage

Once is cooked, you can keep the meat inside the fridge up to 7 days, in acontainer with the lead or aluminu foil on.

You can freeze this meat will the marinade ingredients up to 1 month.

I do not recommend to let it marinade in the fridge for more then 28 hours. (the lime juice will turn very bitter )

Top tip

If you want a very delicious full of flavor meat, let it marinade for 24 hours in the fridge.

Go easy on the meat tenderizer because it contains a lot of salt, the same as the soy sauce.

But it is important that you add soome to each piece of meat. (meat tenderizer)
