Budget Ingredients
The ingredients that you need for this recipe is basically 2:
- valentina hot sauce
- chicken
- a ziploc bag big enought to add all the chicken inside togehter.
I highly recommend to get (if you dont have it yet) the normal traditional valentine sauce(picture below) and not the one with black level that says is spaicer, it taste pretty bad in deed it is more spacy BUT with out flavor.
and for this recipe I use chicken breast.

Instructions
open the bag
add all your chicken breast, add around 1 cup up to 2 cups of valentina hot sauce. close very well the bag.
mix it up until all the chicken breast are well cover with the sauce.
put it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Variations
you can cook this buffalo chicken marinade recipe in the oven as well if you dont feal like cooking it outside
preheat your oven 375F and cook them for 20 to 30 minutes.
if you are using chicken drumsticks or chicken tights you need to cook them longer, around 40minutes up to 1 hr.
Equipment
If you decided to cook it in the oven, I will highly recomend to cook it inside a cooling grid or cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet so all the liquid from the chicken goes there.
I like to do this so I don't have a wet chicken breast and the valentina sauce stays on the chicken.
Storage
you must keep the buffalo chicken marinade breast inside the fridge for the marinade time.
once the chicken is cooked, and you keep it inside the fridge is good to eat up to 8 days.
you can freeze it as well for up to 30 days.
Top tip
this buffalo chicken mariande is a perfect freezer meal. just add the chicken raw in the bag with the valentina sauce, mix it, close it very well. Try to get out as much as the air as possible.
Put it inside your freezer.
Good up tp 30 days.
when reasy to use, take it our of your freezer and let it defrost inside the fridge the night before.
Make sure you rest your meat before cutting it to allows all of the juices to reabsorb into the chicken keeping your chicken breast extra moist!

- in a ziploc bag add the chicken breast together with the valentina sauce, mix it up very well. put it inside the frige for at least 3-4 hours.you can leave it marinate up to 24 hours for more flavor.after the marinate time, get the chicken out and grill it until the chicken temperature reach 165F or you can cook it in the oven 375F for 20 to 26 minutes the chicken breast should reach an internal temperature of 165F. you can get it out around 160F and it would climb to 165 while resting on the pan. once is cooked, let it rest for 5 min. then cut it in fajita style.warm the tortillas and make tacos as you wish.
