Instructions
Cook the Spaghetti:Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions. For al dente pasta, cook for about 9 minutes.Drain the spaghetti and set aside.Cook the Bacon:In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy.Remove the bacon from the skillet, crumble it, and set aside.Reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon fat for later use.Prepare the Sauce:While the bacon cooks, blend the sauce ingredients in a blender or food processor for 2-3 minutes until smooth.Combine Ingredients:In the same pot used for the spaghetti, heat the reserved bacon fat and butter (or oil) over medium heat.Add the blended sauce and cook for about 1 minute, stirring occasionally.Add the cooked spaghetti to the pot and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.Final Touches:Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding salt if desired.Stir in the crumbled bacon.Check out my other spaghetti recipes for more delicious variations.
