Ingredients

  • 7 dried ancho peppers
  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ½ cup sugar you can start with less than this, and add it as you feel it needs it.
  • 1 chocolate abuelita
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 chicken breast

Instructions

  • clean the chiles by removing the tail and the seeds.
In a pan we are going to add some oil, and we are toasting a little bit each chile, Once we are done toasting them, we add a little more oil and we are toasting the breads as well. we set aside. then we are toasting the sesame seeds as well BUT do not add oil. (you can even toast them fist so the pan does not have any oil. you are toasting the seeds for less than a minute.
We are going to brake the chocolate abuelita in little pieces so is easy for the blender to work with it.
We add everything to the blender, and we blend it very well. You can add more water if you feel like it needs it.
We add again a little more oil and add what we blend and we mix it for like 3 to 5 minutes in medium low heat. Here is the moment to check the flavor and see if it needs more sugar or not. This is a sweet mole so we don't add salt.
    CHICKEN
Cook your chicken and shredded, once your mole is done, add the chicken and mix it up, the best. We love eating it with flour tortillas and white rice.
